About
Justin Park was born and raised in Mililani, Hawaii. As a composer and audio engineer, he strives to create inspiring and thought-provoking music while amplifying the voices of the artists he collaborates with. Justin has worked with musicians from the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Interlochen Center for the Arts, Berklee College of Music, Boston Conservatory, and the New England Conservatory of Music. His compositions have been recognized by the National Young Composer’s Challenge, the Fromm Music Foundation, and the Playground Ensemble. His recent works include a clarinet and electronics piece premiered at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and an orchestral work commissioned by the Hawaii Seas Grant and the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to composing, Justin is a recording and mix engineer, working with composers and musicians in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, and Boston. He recently earned his bachelor's degree from Berklee College of Music, specializing in music production and audio engineering. Justin is currently earning his master's degree in Composition, studying with Christopher Cerrone at the Mannes School of Music in New York.
