Crepuscular Light

Crepuscular Light is inspired by the radical changes occurring around the world. With record breaking temperatures and abnormal weather phenomenons, it is now clear that the issues regarding climate change needs to be addressed quickly. My home in Hawaii has seen the effects of climate change for a while. Rising sea levels and deteriorating coast lines, along with hurricanes and historic flooding, the results of climate change haven’t been new to us. Even though Hawaii is the top-rated state for climate conservation, the global consequences of climate change ripple out to each island and continent. If we keep on neglecting our planet, then we will continue to experience climate change and even risk the lives of humans and animals.

This piece uses crepuscular rays as a metaphor to address the issues regarding climate change. I wanted the piece to capture this weather phenomena evolve from darkness to light.
